Leon Kozlowski is the Co‑Founder & CTO of Galaxy. Leon drives the technical architecture and product engineering, shaping Galaxy's AI-native SQL workspace to be fast, robust, and intelligent.
Before Galaxy, Leon was a Data Engineer at Flock Safety, where he designed and built scalable data pipelines and analytics systems, supporting critical safety insights across large-scale deployments.
Leon has over 7 years of professional experience in data engineering and analytics, specializing in data systems and infrastructure, and has deep expertise in building backend systems and operational workflows.
He lives in the New Jersey and holds a degree from Rutgers. Outside of work, Leon is passionate about open‑source contributions and improving data tooling experiences for engineering teams.
He also is a phenomenal grill chef.
